Oh my heart. Where to begin. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take family photos for the Allen family. Debbie and her husband Darian were blessed with twin boys almost three years ago. My youngest brothers are twins, so I have a special place in my heart for twin boys. And not even 10 minutes into the session, these two had my heart! Despite the heat and the mosquitoes, this family was awesome. The boys did awesome, and enjoyed spending some time on the playground. Debbie and her husband were such a great example of what godly parenting looks like!
Being part of a big family, people always ask me if I want a big family. I usually respond right away with, “Oh definitely not.” But then I meet families like the Allen’s and realize how awesome it would be to have a lot of kids and maybe even have twins. But we shall see where the Lord leads me!
Being mostly a wedding photographer, family sessions are sometimes a challenge for me. My focus switches from trying to get the perfect light, to trying to get everyone to smile, stay still, and cooperate for the photos. Yes, the lighting is not perfect in all of these photos. But my photography why goes so much deeper than just having good lighting. My goal is to capture beautiful pictures of memories that I hope will last for a lifetime. Thank you Allen family for allowing me to capture some beautiful photos of your family that I hope you will cherish for many years!
Also, public service announcement. Debbie Allen is a hairdresser. I got my hair done this past weekend at Trendz Hair Salon and I absolutely love it!! Schedule a hair appointment today and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
